Dan Gosling was delighted with his Everton debut in their victory over Middlesbrough.
Gosling told evertonTV: "I would like to play in every game, but we'll see what the manager decides and just take it from there really.
"It's a great experience for me. It was a little tough to start off with but it was good and a great result for the boys.
"I found out on the morning of the game - they said there was one change and that was me coming into the side. All the lads have been supportive from the off.
"Of course there's going to be a few nerves but throughout the game, nerves went and adrenaline kicked in but towards the end there were no nerves.
"All the lads helped me a long. They've been doing it for years. All the encouragement they've ever given me I've taken on board and I'm glad I've had the chance to repay them really.
"I had a few chances. There was a couple of clear cut ones, but I'll look back tonight and see if the keeper made a good save for any of them."
