Damien Perrinelle has been cleared to play for New York Red Bulls.

The former Istres defender has received his International Transfer Certificate.

"This lad can play right fullback or a center back. He can play there. He's technically very good, so that's why we're giving him [a chance]," Red Bulls sporting director Andy Roxburgh said last month.

"He's a good player on the ball. He's talented with the ball at his feet and he's technically very good."
