Damia says Real Betis players must rediscover their confidence after the sacking of coach Hector Cuper this week.

The former Barcelona wing-back said: "We must rebuild the confidence and spirit inside the squad. If things weren't working before, then they must start to do so now after the change that has been made.

"When things go wrong, you cannot just blame the coach. The board has made their decision and now we also must take action."
