Dallas coach bemoans Chivas USA physical play
Dallas head coach Schellas Hyndman hit out against the physical play of Chivas USA after his team was defeated 2-0 at The Home Depot Center in Carson, California.
In a game that saw Dallas FC go down to ten men after goalkeeper Dario Sala was sent off for handball outside his area in the 25th minute, Hyndman described the game as out of hand.
Speaking to reporters after the game Hyndman said, "I thought FC Dallas played a really good game. I was really pleased with our boys for both their technical ability and their composure. I thought the game was out of hand as far as being physical, but I'm really proud of our guys."

Worthy of mentioning is that the game ended with each team getting a Red Card (Dallas for the GK handling the ball outside the box and Chivas for violent conduct), and Chivas committing 15 fouls, almost double the 8 fouls committed by FCD. At the end of the physical match, two Dallas players had bled on the field and required stitches after the game.
