Skysports.com reports Liverpool boss Kenny Dalglish would like Birmingham defender Scott Dann to be the first of his summer rebuilding plans. Dann has impressed in the Premier League during his time at Birmingham with Manchester United also having a watching brief on the Liverpool born defender.

But newly installed director of football Damien Comolli is involved in all transfer dealings at Anfield and it is felt he may have different priorities.
