Liverpool manager Kenny Dalglish has urged the club to stick together as they continue to go through a bad run in the league.

The Reds lost 2-0 at Newcastle United yesterday to make it six defeats in their last seven Premier League fixtures, forcing them to drop below Merseyside rivals Everton, and creating some tension around the club.

But Dalglish is determined to get things back on track at Anfield and has called for some unity in order to make his job a bit easier.

"I just think we have got to stick together,” he said.

"They (the players) will stick together because they want to get it right, and the best way to do it is to stick together and believe in what they are doing.

"It's not as if they don't work hard, it's not as if they don't have the determination and effort to put it right.

"It's up to us to harness the frustration and disappointment properly, work on it and take it as a positive because if they start to enjoy losing games, we'd have a problem."
