Dalglish to replace Hodgson at Liverpool by weekend

A Daily Mail report suggests that Liverpool owners are hoping to bring in Kenny Dalglish if the team loses to Bolton this weekend. The Reds have failed miserably under Roy Hodgson, slumping to 12th on the table, and only a win at Anfield on Saturday over the Trotters will save the ex-Fulham manager's job.

Dalglish was touted as Rafael Benitez's replacement in the summer but the former Reds owners, Tom Hicks and George Gillett, opted for Hodgson.

Now John Henry and Tom Werner or New England Sports Ventures are believed to be ready to bring in Dalglish if results don't improve swiftly.
