Dalglish left disappointed as Norwich hold out at Liverpool

Liverpool boss Kenny Dalglish was left disappointed with their 1-1 draw at home to Norwich City.

Craig Bellamy's goal was cancelled out by Norwich when Grant Holt powered home a header on the hour.

Liverpool threw everything at the Canaries late on, with Andy Carroll missing a close-range header and goalkeeper John Ruddy brilliantly saving Suarez's volley in the last few seconds.

"I think on the balance we deserved to take three points," said Dalglish.

"We played really well up to a point, created some great chances with some good passing and movement but when you are only one in front it gives them some encouragement.

"They were hanging on in there but if we don't convert our chances we are always going to give other people a chance and they took it.

"Even then we came back and the goalkeeper made a fantastic save from Luis and Andy had a chance as well.

"There is a lot of disappointment because the boys have played really well and I don't think a point is a reflection of how well they have played.

"If they continue to play like that they will win a lot more games than they will lose."
