Liverpool boss Kenny Dalglish has not given up hope of adding to his Anfield squad before the transfer window ends, but admits actually signing a player is proving difficult. Ajax coach Frank de Boer has placed a Saturday deadline to finalise a deal for forward Luis Suarez, while the pursuit of Blackpool midfielder Charlie Adam has also stumbled over the transfer fee.
"The finance is there. Everything is in place but it's difficult to get players out of other clubs at this time," said the Scot.
"If we do not get anyone it is not for the want of trying."
