Dalglish determined to make most of Kilmarnock chance

Paul Dalglish is delighted with his move to Kilmarnock.

The former Houston Dynamos forward said: "I will try to do everything I can between now and the end of the season to improve the league position and help the team.

"I want to do well and we will take it from there. The most important thing for me is to get myself in the team and try to score a few goals.

"If I do that then we can think a little bit further. At the moment I'm just trying to get match-sharp and get a run in the team.

"I wanted to come back for a couple of years, I'm going to move to America to live eventually, but I wanted to spend a few years here before I go back there to stay for good.

"I've not put a timescale on how long I am going to play, the plan is to play here as long as I can."
