Dalglish denies QPR ended Liverpool top four hopes

Liverpool boss Kenny Dalglish insists defeat at QPR hasn't ended their top four hopes.

Dalglish insists there is no reason to realign their targets as they prepare to host more relegation strugglers in the form of Wigan on Saturday.

"Whatever we set out to achieve at the start of the season has not changed," said the Reds boss.

"What we said was we would try our best to win every game and we will continue to do that.

"It (the QPR result) is disappointing for us in many ways but we have to brush ourselves down, not feel sorry for ourselves and just get on with it.

"We will keep playing every game and try to get as much as we possibly can. We have to keep going and try to please as many people as we can who support Liverpool."
