Dalglish confirms Liverpool's interest in Cliftonville's Donnelly

Cliftonville striker Rory Donnelly has been confirmed as a target for Liverpool.

Reds boss Kenny Dalglish admits to having spoken to Cliftonville chairman Gerard Lawlor about the 19-year old striker but says that's as far the Anfield club's interest has gone at this stage.

"I spoke to the chairman - it was nice of him to tell everyone," said Dalglish.

"There is a bit of interest in the boy from a few places so we have registered our interest but that is as far as it goes at the moment."

Everton manager David Moyes also revealed today that his club were showing interest in the striker whilst Swansea City are also in the queue.
