Kenny Dalglish is backing Brendan Rodgers to lead Liverpool back into the top four.

Rodgers was the man Liverpool's owners chose to replace the Scot in May.

Dalglish said: "My advice is just enjoy the position he holds.

"And the club wants to be playing in the Champions League so he can push for that."
