Kenny Dalglish says a new stadium is key to Liverpool's future.
New England Sports Ventures, owners of the Boston Red Sox baseball team, are trying to buy the fallen giants for £300million.
Reds legend Dalglish warned: "A solution must also be found where Liverpool's match-day revenues increase - either at an enlarged Anfield or a new stadium."
