Portsmouth boss Harry Redknapp remains hopeful of landing Real Zaragoza midfielder Pablo Aimar.
Pompey are among a raft of clubs chasing the Argie dazzler, but the Mirror says Redknapp remains confident of landing the midfielder.
Aimar is close pals with Andres D'Alessandro, who has always spoken highly of his time on the south coast under Redknapp.
