Chelsea whizkid Daishawn Redan is delighted with his first full season at the club.
Redan moved to Chelsea last year from Ajax, but was forced to sit out the second-half of last season due to red tape.
He told NOS: "There was interest from Manchester United, Manchester City and RB Leipzig. But I wanted to go to Chelsea. After the visit to Chelsea, it was all too much for me. I stayed away from Ajax by myself. Very stupid. I had a great deal of regret.
"That was the biggest mistake I made. It also cost me the European Championship, because the national coach did not take me. Logical, because I did not play.
"The national coach also said it was stupid not to return to Ajax. But he also said that I am still young and can make mistakes. I have to learn from that."
