Daehli leaves Man Utd for Molde

Mats Moller Daehli has departed Manchester United to join Norwegian club Molde.

The highly-rated 18-year old midfielder has linked up with former Red Devils star Ole Gunnar Solskjaer at Molde on a two-year deal, believed to be worth around £1.5million.

Reports suggest that United have added a buy-back clause in Daehli's Molde contract following the Jimmy Murphy youth academy award he won in 2012.

"We talked two-and-a-half years ago when he had to make a choice to stay or go. I recommended him to sign with United," Solskjaer said.

"However, I told him he could always come back to Norway and come to Molde. He's had two great seasons and learned plenty at United.

"He's here to develop. There's no pressure on him to come in here and turn our season around. We'll take this step by step."
