Ivan Berbatov is in London for talks with Tottenham about the future of his son, Dimitar.

The Times says Emil Dantchev, the player's agent, and Ivan, his father, have travelled to London to discuss Berbatov's future with Spurs officials, aimed at securing his transfer in January.

Spurs coach Juande Ramos has already had a positive meeting with Berbatov, who has been linked heavily with Manchester United.

"If they want to talk, there is no problem," Ramos said. "I've just arrived and have spoken to the player. If he did [have a problem], I think he'd have told me. It was fundamental to rest players because the Uefa Cup is this week and we have to have the team ready at 100 per cent. I decided to rest Keane and Berbatov before the game. We have many games and we have to give breathers to the players."
