The father of Ajax defender Nicolai Boilesen is coy over his son's next move.

Now inside the final year of his current deal, the Dane is the subject of a €2 million bid from Aston Villa.

Kenny Boilesen told Ekstra Bladet: "I cannot say at this moment which clubs show interest in Nicolai. But I can say that we are talking about what is going to happen.

"And if the club of his choice does not come forward, then he stays with Ajax.

"He still has a contract until next year."
