The father of Thiago Alcantara admits Barcelona have received offers for his son.
Mazinho, a World Cup winner with Brazil, insists Thiago is prepared to stay with Barca and fight for a first team future.
"Sevilla was interested. Barca also told me directly that he had offers, but I never knew how long the contracts were, if they were four, five or one year. In no time I spoke about this issue. The press always talks a lot," said Mazinho.
"It is very important for the kid that he has interest from important clubs such as Atletico Madrid, Sevilla, Mallorca, but this time Barcelona would not talk to anyone.
