Chelsea management have assured Charly Musonda of his future at Stamford Bridge.
Musonda, after having his loan at Real Betis cut short in January, failed to taste first team action in the second-half of last season.
However, his father has revealed Chelsea have made it clear he is still a required player.
Reacting to rumours of interest from RacingGenk, he told HLN: "We have no knowledge of interest from Genk. Chelsea has said that Charly Jr should not leave the club.
"He will get playing opportunities next season. If it comes to a loan, then there are options other than a return to Belgium."
