SC Braga starlet Pedro Neto has resisted offers from Barcelona and Manchester United.

Sport says Barca sporting director Robert Fernandez has been given good reports on the youngster and had him followed for a while, but the player has decided to turn down the chance to sign for the Catalan club -- and also Manchester United.

Pedro has since penned a deal to 2020 with Braga.

Pedro Neto's father has explained to O Jogo that "sportingly the offers from Barcelona and Manchester United were interesting, but economcially we never received an offer. The president of Braga was also key. It was him who convinced us that the best thing for my son was to continue with Braga."
