The father of Borussia Dortmund midfielder Ilkay Gundogan admits Real Madrid are pushing hard for his son. Real are understood to have first refusal on the midfielder.

"The interest of Madrid for my son is intense and they want to negotiate for him, but for now we cannot do so until Ilkay is fully recovered from the back injury he suffered.

"When playing continuously, then we could talk to them," said Gundogan Snr.
