The father of Liverpool goalkeeper Pepe Reina says he'd be ideal for Barcelona. Reina is being linked with Barca as a replacement for want-away Victor Valdes.

"I think Pepe has sufficiently demonstrated the quality of goalkeeper he is. Nowadays, I think he rises to the occasion.

"Moreover, he would be the ideal goalkeeper for Barcelona, certainly," said Miguel Reina to laxarxa.com.
