The father of Frank Lampard has backed Guus Hiddink to take the Chelsea job.
Frank Lampard Snr told talkSPORT that Turkey manager Hiddink is in the driving seat to take the post and replace Carlo Ancelotti.
He said: "It's a busy time now. It's an important time in the next two or three weeks to get the players in that you need.
"And I would think that Chelsea will appoint someone sooner rather than later. Something will happen in the next three or four days, I would have thought, to get someone in and then get moving and get some new players organised and some of the other players may be going out.
"If I was to have a bet I'd say Guus [Hiddink]."
