The father of Andreas Christensen says there's no chance of his son getting carried away with his success at Chelsea.

The defender has just agreed a new four-and-a-half year contract at Chelsea.

"I was there last week when we signed the new contract," Sten Christensen told Sky Sports. "When we left Stamford Bridge afterwards, I asked Andreas if he wanted to go somewhere to get something to eat, but he said no. He was already thinking about his game the next day. He said he just wanted to go home, order something and go to bed. So that was our celebration.

"That's Andreas," adds Sten. "He is totally focused on football."
