The father of Porto defender Bruno Alves says his son would welcome a move to Real Madrid.

Alves is the son of former Brazilian footballer Washington, 61, and Dad said: "Of course, Bruno would love to go to Real, which is a great team, but the agreement must be satisfactory to Porto.

"He is having a great season, is happy, but if the opportunity is good for both it will be taken.

"Bruno is good friends with Pepe, they played together at Porto.

"Without doubt, the presence of Pepe in the Madrid team would greatly facilitate the adaptation of my son."
