The father and agent of Diego says the Juventus star can win the Ballon d'Or.

"The Golden Ball can become reality," Djair noted. "However, he and the rest of the team must have a good season first.

"It's still very early, but I'm supporting Juventus and hope they can get as far as possible in the Serie A race and the Champions League.

"It's obvious that if the club do get to the Final of the European Cup then my son will be at an advantage."

He added: "He's very satisfied with his first few months as a Bianconero. He was instantly impressed with the affection of the fans.

"The atmosphere in Italy is similar to the one back home in Brazil. Diego has a great hunger to excite the fans."
