The father and agent of Standard Liege star Axel Witsel insists there's been no direct contact with interested clubs.
Thierry Witsel is aware of the press speculation linking his son with the likes of Manchester United, AC Milan and Bayern Munich.
But he told TMW: "I only know the news from reports I read in the newspapers. Frankly, I do not know anything else.
"The will of my son? Surely sooner or later he will go to a championship a level higher than the Belgian one, whether it is the Spanish, Italian or English is too early to say.
"Bayern and Manchester? What I can say with certainty is that during games there are a lot of scouts who come to see him."
