The father of Werder Bremen midfielder Diego has revealed Juventus are in the boxseat to land the Brazilian.

"So much has been said and not all of it is true," Diego's father Djair de Cunha told Bild.

"But Bianconeri sporting director Alessio Secco has already been to Bremen and talked to Werder President Klaus Allofs."

While Bremen want to keep hold of their star man, that seems increasingly unlikely as they languish in fifth place in Germany.

"The situation isn't good enough for Diego," his father continued. "His dream is to win in Europe."
