Alan Curtis was bitterly disappointed as his Swansea City side were knocked out of the FA Cup on Sunday.
The Swans were beaten 3-2 by League Two club Oxford United at the Kassam Stadium in the third round of the famous cup competition.
Despite taking the lead through Jefferson Montero in the 23rd minute, Swansea found themselves 3-1 down before the hour-mark after a penalty from Liam Sercombe and a brace from Kemar Roofe prior to Bafetimbi Gomis' 66th-minute effort.
It ended quite an upset with the division four side eliminating their Premier League counterparts which prompted the following response from Swans boss Curtis.
"It's hugely disappointing," said Curtis.
"All credit to Oxford, they were more energetic than us and passed the ball better.
"We made changes but we still had lots of experience, but Oxford thoroughly deserved to beat us.
"The league was always going to be the priority but we wanted a cup run and to get some momentum going.
"It's a huge setback for the club.
"We're going to have to lift everyone for our next game."
