Jack Wilshere has suffered another injury blow which may see him miss the start of the season for Arsenal.

Wilshere has had a recurrence of the ankle injury that plagued him for so much of last season and ruled him out of Sunday's Community Shield win over Chelsea.

The midfielder could also miss England's two Euro2016 qualifiers with San Marino and Switzerland in September as fresh doubts about his long-term national team future emerge.

Wilshere has suffered with several ankle injuries and England boss Roy Hodgson may well look to find another more permanent solution to his midfield quandary.
