West Ham United boss Alan Curbishley admits this week could define their season.
After Saturday's draw at Portsmouth in the Premier League, Curbishley's men travel to Coca-Cola Championship club Coventry for tonight's Carling Cup fourth-round tie, before they take on Bolton at Upton Park on Sunday.
Both matches are ones West Ham would expect to win, and their significance is not lost on Curbishley.
He said: "We drew at Portsmouth on Saturday, and we will be in the quarter-finals of the Carling Cup if we win at Coventry.
"Then, if we beat Bolton on Sunday, we will stay in the top 10 of the Premier League, so these are a big few days for us."
