Alan Curbishley says he'll get it right at West Ham United - if he's give time.

Curbishley said: "Everton had a couple of topsy-turvy seasons but over the last three years David's turned them into a top-six side.

"That's been through hard work, from players and the club. They've all pulled in the right direction.

"David has been given time and has delivered results. Everton have made themselves a top-six club.

"We can do that at West Ham. We've hovered mid-table for most of the season with the problems we had. I just need to get everyone fit so we have that competition."
