Alan Curbishley expects Nigel Reo-Coker to stay at Aston Villa.
Curbishley was asked about two of his former West Ham United players, Reo-Coker and Marlon Harewood, and their situations at Villa Park.
He told the Sunday Mercury: "I think Marlon has never really been given a chance and Nigel has been playing but has suffered from injury recently.
"Villa will need the squad next season with European football again so Nigel is going to have to fight has way back. I'm sure he'll come back fully focused and try to force his way in."
