Cuper admits Parma must do better

Parma coach Hector Cuper admits his players must do better after their 1-1 draw with Livorno yesterday.

"We did not play well, especially in the first half when it came to having possession," said Cuper, who replaced Mimmo di Carlo last week.

Reginaldo rescued a point for Parma in the second-half after they were trailing to Jose Luis Vidigal's early opener for Livorno.

Cuper continued: "There is still a definite sense of anxiety and I have not had enough time to work on entertaining football. This squad needs confidence, to believe in what it does and everyone must recognise it takes time.

"The talent is there and I need to do more work on a psychological level."
