Cuper adamant Liverpool ace Salah primed for Russia clash

Egypt coach Hector Cuper says Liverpool ace Mohamed Salah is primed for their World Cup clash with Russia.

Speaking ahead of the huge contest, Cuper says the returning Salah - who is expected to start having missed out against Uruguay despite being “100 per-cent" tipped to be involved his manager - can help motivate his country to a huge result.

“Salah brings a lot to our national team," Cuper told FIFA TV. “He is important to us and to the opponent too, because they worry about him.

“But it's not as if we don't have other players [for opponents] to worry about besides Salah.

“Our team has a style. I won't say philosophy, because it's a very general term.

“But we have a style and if Salah is playing, he adds to it. No-one can deny that.

“Most likely he will play against Russia and I think this motivates us, of course it does.

“We trust him because we know he can make things happen."
