Kilmarnock boss Jim Jefferies says he will not see any extra cash for transfers despite progressing to the fifth round of the Homecoming Scottish Cup. Killie beat Ayr 3-1 in a replay, attended by their biggest attendance of the season, was televised live, which also boosted the Ayrshire club's income.
"I think both clubs were grateful for the extra money," he said.
"The replay wasn't something we had budgeted for.
"We got television money and there was also over 11,500 fans there.
"But the trip to Inverness is not a huge money-spinner for the club.
"I wanted to bring in players before we got through to the next round and I will still be looking but (in terms of money available) nothing will change."
