CSKA turn down Lazio offer for Honda

Russian club CSKA Moscow have rejected an offer from Lazio for playmaker Keisuke Honda.

The Roman outfit were reportedly closing in on a deal for the Japan international after personal terms had been agreed but latest reports suggest that CSKA have snubbed their advances.

Honda has attracted attention from the likes of Arsenal, Liverpool and Paris Saint-Germain recently and it had emerged that Lazio were in pole position before the Russian club essentially ended the pursuit of the Aquile.
