CSKA Sofia whizkid Kiril Despodov has revealed he's rejected an offer from Manchester City.

The 20 year-old had offers from several major clubs before he left Litex Lovech for CSKA.

"There was the interest of Lazio, Schalke 04, Juventus and Manchester City," he said.

"None of those clubs met the conditions set out by the club for a transfer and thereby a move never happened."

At Litex Lovech, Despodov was handed his first team debut by Bulgarian legend Hristo Stoichkov.
