CSKA's Honda proud of Man Utd new boy Kagawa

CSKA Moscow attacker Keisuke Honda admitted he is proud to see his Japan teammate Shinji Kagawa join a massive club.

The 23-year old attacking midfielder has made a £12million move (which could rise to £17m) from Borussia Dortmund to Manchester United and Honda indicated his delight at the move of his fellow Blue Samurai star.

"Shinji's the perfect player for a world-class team. As a fellow Japanese I'm proud of him," Honda told reporters.

"But at the same time as a rival, I'm aiming to play at a big club too, and I think I'd fit in just as well."
