CSKA Moscow striker Aleksandr Golovin is excited about the interest of Arsenal.
Gunners boss Arsene Wenger had the 21-year-old attacking midfielder watched at the Confederations Cup in June.
And Golovin said: “Of course, I will be pleased that such a club is interested in me.
“In my opinion, every football player, regardless of age, wants to play in Europe. I'm not an exception."
Golovin has established himself as one of Russia's most promising talents, winning 15 caps for his country.
When asked whether he feels ready to join a club of Arsenal's stature, he told Sport-Express: "I can not answer your question. I did not train with this team. I do not know how it is or what.
“Yes, we played in the Champions League with rivals of this level, but I do not know the situation from the inside.
“Of course, I would like to try my strength there."
