CSKA Moscow star Kesiuke Honda is believed to be on the verge of a move to French Ligue 1 club Olympique Marseille. Avi Assouly, a journalist close to the club, has revealed that the 24-year old attacker could be on his way to France, joining Ajax and Uruguay hitman Luis Suarez.
"I can confirm what I wrote on my blog. Luis Suarez and Keisuke Honda are among the targets of Olympique de Marseille," Assouly told Football.fr.
"[The chances of them signing for Marseille] are real, but in this environment, nothing is ever certain. So beware, I made the announcement via the information I received, but nothing is done. OM are currently working to conclude the negotiations successfully.
"Luis Suarez is at least 10m (£8.5m) from Ajax. Honda is more affordable but it should also be around that amount. In any case, Taiwo and Ben Arfa will leave to make money. Benoit Cheyrou also approaches the exit, especially if Honda comes. Fresh money will therefore go into the club's finances."
