CSKA Moscow star Keisuke Honda is closing in on a deal which will see him join Italian giants AC Milan.
The Japan international has become a key target for new Rossoneri coach Massimiliano Allegri who is willing to pay around 15million ($AUD21.6m) for his services.
"We are very close to signing Honda, the clubs are very close to finding an agreement," said a Milan source.
"(Massimiliano) Allegri likes him a lot and wants to see him playing alongside (Alexandre) Pato and Ronaldinho."
Honda had a brilliant World Cup for the Blue Samurai and has attracted a lot of interest since with English club Arsenal reported to also be very keen on him.
