Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich, after the sacking of Carlo Ancelotti, is eager to find his replacement by July.

Mediaset says along with the usual suspects, CSKA Moscow coach Slutsky is also being considered seriously by Abramovich. The Blues owner knows Slutsky well from his success at CSKA and regards him highly.

Just 40, Slutsky is rated as Russian football's brightest coaching talent and has led CSKA to record breaking runs in the Champions League since taking charge in 2009.
