CSKA Moscow goalkeeper Igor Akinfeev admits he would love to make the move to English champions Manchester United.

Red Devils boss Sir Alex Ferguson is believed to be very interested in the 23-year old Russian shot-stopper but a deal is yet to come to fruition.

If it did though, Akinfeev would have no trouble leaving the club who gave him an opportunity as a raw 17-year old.

"CSKA is a great club but every player would love to prove their worth at United," he said.
