Crystal Palace have handed trials to Stoke City defender Andrew Davies.
The Daily Mail says Davies, 26, has joined Crystal Palace for training ahead of a possible move to Selhurst Park after Anthony Gardner opted to join Nottingham Forest.
Palace were also keen on Gardner, but couldn't agree personal terms with the off contract Hull City defender.
