Southampton fullback Matt Targett is attracting rival Premier League interest.

The Mirror says Crystal Palace and Watford are in the hunt for Southampton full-back Matt Targett.

Eagles boss Roy Hodgson is willing to sell Patrick van Aanholt next month, with Everton among the clubs interested in the Dutchman.

And Palace want England Under-21 defender Targett from St Mary's to replace him.

Watford are also keen to take to Targett, who Newcastle tried to sign in the summer window.
