Crystal Palace have been linked with former Cardiff City right-back Kevin Theophile-Catherine.

The French defender currently plies his trade with St Etienne.

He joined the Ligue 1 outfit in 2015 after departing halfway through his Bluebirds contract.

But a return to the U.K could on the cards for Theophile-Catherine, according to The Sun.

Joel Ward's injury lay-off this year forced Roy Hodgson to field the previously untested Aaron Wan-Bissaka for an extended period of time.

And although Wan-Bissaka thrived in the role, the Eagles will want to bolster their depth for next season.
