Crystal Palace are set to focus on Charlie Austin after they complete the signing of Yohan Cabaye.
French midfielder Cabaye is set to join the Eagles from Paris Saint-Germain for a reported fee of £12.7million and once that is finalised, the south Londoners will put all their efforts into luring Austin to Selhurst Park.
According to the Daily Mail, Palace boss Alan Pardew is determined to sign a quality goalscorer this summer but is unlikely to pay the £15million quoted for either Austin or Chelsea's Loic Remy, who he worked so well with at Newcastle United.
It is believed that Palace will look to strike a £6m deal with QPR while offering one of four players in a part-exchange.
The players the Eagles have up for offer are believed to be Fraizer Campbell, Barry Bannan, Adrian Mariappa and Adlene Guedioura.
